#12. Work in New York

Last October, I planned a trip with my friends to the U.K.  I had a friend, Natalie, living in New York and decided to visit her for a day and a half before I flew from New York to the U.K.  It was a short trip, but I had an amazing time.  Natalie is an awesome girl and I respect her so much, because she moved from Utah to New York to make a name for herself.  I had a great time with her and she helped me see another side of New York that I loved.

She was working for this marketing/fashion/PR place in Tribeca (pretty cool job, like in chick flicks for sure), but her boss dumped a bunch of work on her that day.  Her boss was an idiot, but Natalie was a trooper.  She had to hand deliver these chocolate bar invitations for this shoe line party, but she had like 150 of them.  She had a few leftover that she was behind on and I gladly offered to deliver them around New York the next day.  I have always wanted to work in the Big Apple, but I never thought it would be dropping off chocolate bars to businesses ha ha.  I felt like I saw the real New York and I loved it.  It was a beautiful October day and shops were opening up, people were eating at cafe's outside.  It was like the beginning of "You've Got Mail".  I love that opening scene with the Cranberries song. Ultimate day in New York.  This was the only picture that I took that morning, because I didn't really want to look like a tourist ha ha.  I am glad it was a good picture.

After I dropped off my last bar, I checked out the Memorial and it was amazing!
